Happy New Year!
Last night Jon and I went to Big Daddy's fireworks castle and loaded up. We made out like bandits cause they give you lots of free stuff and they are bad at math. Example- the video is of a firework that cost $13.99 but it was on the 30% off table. Well, the little dude rang it up full price and didn't know how to void it so he gave me over $10 worth of free stuff to make up for it! Fun! Our neighborhood sounded like a war zone with all the fireworks going off all night. From sundown til 2am. We're lucky we didn't set the house on fire! Jon set off the first rocket and it went right into the neighbor's yard across the pond and exploded on the ground. He ran inside and turned off all the lights and hid for a while. From then on out I was in charge of the explosives. It pays to be raised in a state where they're totally legal and basically required at every holiday, event, and occasion.
