Bloggy Parade of Homes 2006

......is coming! But I have a lunch date, so you'll have to stay tuned! In just a couple of hours you'll have tons of links to lots of bloggy homes to check out. Don't touch that dial!

OK, I'm back!
Welcome to the first ever Bloggy Parade of Homes! I'm your host, Shannon.
For those of you who are just joining us (I feel like a talk show host!), we are touring our readers through our homes, room by room. We are starting with our entry/foyer areas. If you'd like to play along please leave a comment that you've posted your pics. All those who are already participating are leaving comments that their pictures are posted. Go check out their homes! If you're nosey like me then you know you're dying to see how we all live!

And here we go with my house: Click on each pic to enlarge.

Now look up:

Here's the view from the top of the stairs:

Here's the window in the foyer:

Dag- I meant to take one of the whole front of the house. I'll do that now and post it in a few.

*I forgot to mention the thing I like best about our foyer/entrance. I like the front porch- I don't like it if there is no overhang. My mom's house doesn't have any shelter for waiting guests and it drives me nuts. What if it is raining?? I also really like the black shelving unit in the entryway. It's from IKEA of course and we painted it. It holds my favorite little puggy bank.
In the meantime go to my comments and check out who else is playing!
